Hermes PA is a privately operated, personal-use assistant for the account owner. Dan is the conversational entry point; PA handles explicitly requested Google email and calendar tasks.
What the assistant is designed to do
- Read and organize Gmail messages, prepare drafts and send email for specifically requested tasks.
- Delete email, including permanent deletion, only when the owner specifically authorizes that action.
- Read and manage calendars and events, including sharing or deletion, only when instructed and where the Google account has the required access.
Google authorization makes these capabilities possible. It does not instruct the assistant to send an email, change an event, or resume a recurring routine.
How access works
- The owner authorizes access on Google's own OAuth screen.
- PA stores the resulting credentials in its local profile on the owner's Mac.
- Dan asks PA for the information needed for the owner's task, and returns the result through the owner's Telegram conversation.
Relevant email or event content may be processed by the configured OpenAI model. The public AWS website is separate from the locally running assistant.
Your choices
Google access is optional and can be revoked through Google Account connections. Read the privacy policy for data flows, local records and deletion choices, and the terms for use conditions.
